Friends of the Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted Forest Nature Sanctuary is the first property purchased by the Brevard County EEL Program. This 470-acre forest near Titusville now includes an environmental education center.  The "Friends" are a  non-profit volunteer organization committed to assisting the EEL Program with its conservation of The Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, and to educate visitors about the unique geology and biodiversity.

Friends of the St. Sebastian River
The Friends of St. Sebastian River is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization that promotes and protects the environment and recreational opportunities of the St. Sebastian River and tributaries.  This group conducts monthly meetings at the Sebastian Public Library and also conducts outdoor events including kayaking and river cleanups.  Their website contains lots of useful information.

Barrier Island Center
The Barrier Island Center is the second Management & Education Center developed by the Brevard County EEL Program.  It is located on Highway A1A near Sebastian Inlet, within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Preserve.   The Barrier Island Center is co-managed with the Caribbean Conservation Corporation (CCC) who provide support for gift shop operations, volunteer coordination and educational outreach including guided sea turtle hikes.

The Thousand Islands in Cocoa Beach
Tim Kozusko
, biologist and Cocoa Beach native, created this website to provide information about the history and biology of The Thousand Islands.  Like Ulumay, these islands were reshaped to provide mosquito control in the sixties and seventies.   Tim is a strong advocate for the removal of Australian Pines from Florida.  He makes a strong case for removal on this website.

Ulumay Park Wildlife Sanctuary is operated by Brevard County Parks and Recreation.  This website contains information about Ulumay as well as other parks within Central Brevard and throughout Brevard County.  A Calendar of activities offered by Parks and Recreation is also posted on this website.

This website provides the names, office addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses for members of the Brevard County Commission.  Ulumay is located in District 2 which is represented by Chuck Nelson.  Do not hesitate to contact your County Commissioner when you want to express your opinion.

Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program
The Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program acquires, protects and maintains environmentally endangered lands guided by scientific principles for conservation and ecosystem management.   If the County Commission approves the purchase of the additional 280 acres through the EEL Program, this program is likely to become responsible for the entire Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary.
