TNC Oyster Mat Program - September 15th
 
Michelle Peters-Snyder of The Nature Conservancy will provide a program involving the construction of oyster mats at the September meeting of the Friends of Ulumay.  The mats that we construct will be used to restore oyster beds in the Indian River Lagoon.

Commission Approves Ulumay Purchase
  
The Brevard County Commission voted unanimously (4-0) in favor of purchasing 295 acres adjoining the Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary.  Funding for this purchase is provided via the Environmentally Endangered Lands(EEL) Program.  <more>
